Come with us to make a case for land for an Animal Adoption Center at the Chatham County
Capital Development meeting. We encourage you to come speak, and you can speak from your heart, but you must sign up before the meeting. Meet at 5:30 at the
Pittsboro Roadhouse to leave around 6:00 and walk to meeting.

Announcements
At the same time that we're announcing positions to fill, we have the honor of telling you that
we have news about new team members and their new roles.
New President: Randy Dow, Esq.
Attorney Randy Dow has been on our Board of Directors for a while, and just recently
accepted the position of president. We're very excited about this.
Community Relations Team: Karen Allen, Ed.D.
Dr. Karen Allen brings a tremendous understanding of the people and history of Chatham County
to work with us in community building. Already Karen has included us in some very informative
meetings. Thank you for your volunteer work Karen.
PR Consultant & Grants/Foundations Team:
Tom Waniewski, MA
Tom Waniewski is a seasoned PR professional who includes in his portfolio, busting a 4 state
dog fighting ring. Tom will advise us on PR and lead our grant writing work.

Work with Us: Open Positions
We're actively looking to fill several volunteer positions for important roles at Guardians of Angels.
Does one of these have your name on it? Contact 919-542-3244 to discuss it.
Treasurer (Board of Directors) - Documenting and reporting on the finances of GOA.
Administrative Lead - Keeping track of GOAs activities and projects.
Field Assistant - Helping with feral cat feeding and occasional trapping.
Spay Day Lead - Managing Spay Day.
Volunteer roles are the life blood of GOA, and can also strengthen your resume and LinkedIn profile, in addition to your own skills and non-profit know-how.
Please consider who you know who might be the right person for one of these roles.
We are looking for people who live in Chatham or adjacent Counties.

Every year we send Christmas Cards to all of our supporters and will be asking for mail addresses from you.
